MY EASY SPONGE CAKE RECIPES

Hi.....welcome to my CAKE RECIPES! This cake is the basic cake among cake recipe. Sponge Cake is a very light, porous cake made of flour, sugar, beaten eggs, and flavoring and containing no shortening. Come let's try this recipes now! You'll need the ingredients as below :

  • 300 gm Sponge Cake Mix or Optima Flour
  • 300 gm Whole Eggs (LARGE EGG)
  • 100 gm Water
  • 100 gm Corn Oil
Now let's get started.....Put all the ingredients into a mixer except the Corn Oil and whisk for 6 minutes using high speed...add in the corn oil and beat just a while. Now pour the mixture into a 10" round cake tin and bake at 140 - 150 C for 1 hour 15 minutes.  

*No need to grease or put grease proof paper into the tin.

Walaaa...Remove cake from pan and leave to cool. Spread with a cream of your choice. Best  decorated with Fresh Cream, Butter Cream or Icing. Happy Eating and Baking! :)
